Strategic Advisory & Artistic Tutoring
Senior expertise, transdisciplinary vision, and mentorship for artists, universities, institutions, and corporate organizations.
Gianluca Iadema, co-founder of Iadema Studio, is a composer, visual artist, and performer whose practice spans music, video, and installation. Grounded in this ongoing research, his work operates across two areas: senior advisory, helping universities, institutions, and corporate organizations design academic programs, cross-disciplinary hubs, and cultural initiatives, and advanced artistic tutoring, helping creators mature their projects, sharpen their vision, and navigate contemporary ecosystems. Across both, the approach is singular: translating conceptual depth into functional reality.
Senior Artistic Advisory for Corporations & Universities
When an institution or partner faces an unfamiliar challenge, there may be no existing model to follow. Developing an interconnected university hub, for example, requires more than established planning methods: it requires understanding its context, users, disciplines, and resources, and translating them into a coherent structure.
Each project begins with its specific conditions: location, resources, users, institutional objectives, and possibilities for future development. This informs strategies for programmes, organisational structures, partnerships, workshops, and long-term growth.
The aim is to give complexity a precise form without reducing it. By bringing different requirements into relation, a project becomes coherent, functional, and adaptable. Clarity and beauty are not added afterwards, but emerge from the structure itself.
Advanced Artistic Tutoring
High-specialization, face-to-face mentorship for artists and advanced practitioners developing their work and refining the direction of their practice.
This work is grounded in a formation that moves across performance, composition, technology, and creative practice. Gianluca holds a Master’s in Composition and Creative Practice from the Hochschule der Künste Bern, a Bachelor’s in Classical Composition from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, a Bachelor’s in Computer Music from the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics in Graz, and a Master’s in Classical Piano Performance from the Conservatory of Brescia.
The approach is focused on the artist’s development: refining ongoing projects, deepening conceptual frameworks, resolving technical and aesthetic questions, and understanding how a specific practice relates to the wider contemporary art and media landscape. Alongside individual works, the mentorship helps establish a method for the artist, a way to organise research, test ideas, make decisions, and maintain a continuous direction as the practice evolves.
The aim is not to impose a style or predefined solution, but to provide a direct and critical perspective that can reveal the internal logic of the work and help bring it into clearer form.
How I work
At the center of every collaboration is a genuine dedication shaped by years of working alongside master mentors, learning firsthand what a truly tailor-made approach means through a deep understanding of the person behind the work. This foundation, enriched by an international network of museum directors, festival curators, composers, and collectors across classical traditions, fine arts, cinema, and electronic innovation, is what provides concrete support and drives the real growth of an artist or a project.
